Cops say Itabashi boy killer calculated mother's murder
Tokyo boy arrested for killing his parents earlier this week said he deliberately waited for hours after killing his father before he brutally murdered his mother, police said.
"I intended to kill her from the start," the boy told police, who noted the vast number of stab wounds on the suspect's 42-year-old mother indicated a strong intent to murder.
Police said the boy fatally clubbed his father with an iron dumbbell on the morning of June 20 while his mother was working in the Itabashi-ku company dormitory where the couple worked as caretakers.
When the mother returned to the caretakers' office hours later, the boy was waiting for her with a knife and while she was preparing the midday meal, he came up from behind her and began stabbing her repeatedly with a knife, police said. The mother did not appear to have noticed her husband had been killed.
Although the mother was stabbed at least 40 times, she appears to have vigorously defended herself and her son has minor wounds on his hands, police said.
After killing his mother, the boy went to a nearby drug store and bought bandages, then returned home, police said, adding that he set up an explosion that later destroyed the family apartment and left his home.
The boy then went and watched "Batman Begins" at an Ikebukuro movie theater before heading off to hot springs resorts in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, and Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture, where he was caught and arrested on June 22. (Mainichi)

Boy watches 'Batman' after brutally slaying parents
A teenage boy who went to a movie after killing his parents said he had no intention of turning himself in and was enjoying his freedom, officers said.
The 15-year-old high school student from Itabashi-ku is accused of hitting his father with an iron dumbbell while he was taking a nap at their home on June 20, and stabbing his mother with a knife shortly after.
The boy said his father had called him stupid when questioned about his motives behind the crime.
The boy, whose name is being withheld, went to see "Batman Begins" at a movie theater near JR Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo.
He took the subway to Ikebukuro from Itabashi-ku and, after watching the movie, left Tokyo to visit a hot spa area.
"I thought I would be arrested sooner or later. But I wanted to enjoy my freedom for as long as I could," officers quoted the boy as saying. "I didn't intend to turn myself in to police and didn't have any plans to commit suicide."
He arrived in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, after the movie and stayed at a hotel there. He went to Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture, where he stayed at an inn on the night of June 21. After inn employees alerted police, officers arrested the boy on June 22. (Mainichi)

Вместо Itabashi-ku надо читать Iidabashi-ku. Я всегда с подозрением относился к факту предоставления Бердяеву должности декана кафедры теологии Кембриджского университета. Теперь, надо тщательно обдумывать тот факт, что он пробыл в той должности, что-то около года...
